Rolf Schlettwein
Rolf is an associate consultant of c-Growth. He has an extensive expertise as an executive for multinational corporations and a diplomat.
In the private sector, he was the founder and Managing Director of Adidas Mexico for 12 years, managed Lufthansa Mexico’s Public Relations Department (where he was in charge of opening the route Frankfurt-Mexico City), was the Director for Product Publicity for Walter Thompson Mexico, and was the Underdirector for Foreign Investment of Bancomer Bank.
As a government official, he was appointed as General Consul of Mexico both in Berlin and in Frankfurt by President Ernesto Zedillo, where he served for 8 years. He was also the Mexican Commercial Advisor in Germany (overlooking Germany, Netherlands, Switzerland and Austria), the Director of International Promotion for the Mexican Foreign Trade Institute, and the Executive Vice President of the Mexican Investment Board.
Rolf has served as honorary member of the board of the Mexican-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Vice-President), the Mexican Tennis Federation (Vicepresident for International Relations), German Club in Mexico (Member of the Board), the Junior Club Mexico, and the International Tennis Club (Mexico, England, France, USA, Germany and France Chapters).
Rolf works in Spanish, English and German. He has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the Mexican National Autonomous University and the George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
