Carlos Camarena

Carlos is an associate consultant of c- Growth and for over 20 years he has advised institutions and officials at the three levels of government. He works using various methodologies that have helped organizations in their strategicplanning and to achieve their goals.

Until 2016, he worked as advisor of the Government of the State of Guanajuato, where he coordinated the state´s Strategic Investment Planning and implemented the Governor´s Emblematic Projects. From 2009 to 2012, he was the Chief of Staff of the Municipality of Irapuato, where he was in charge of planning and supervising all the leading local projects. Moreover, he was the Head of the first Customs Office in the state of Guanajuato.

Between 2001 and 2003, he collaborated in the design, and its promotion throughout the country, of the Regional Development Model at the Office of the Presidency. He also coordinated the planning, development and application of the West-center Region Development Plan, which is comprised by nine states.

He was in charge of developing and coordinating the Presidential Projects´ System, which monitored, supervised and supported the successful implementation of the most relevant projects of the 2000-2006 public administration. He was in charge, as well, of the Strategic Planning and the Regional Development Plan of the State of Guanajuato, where he collaborated in the design of the 1995 – 2000 Governmental Primary Plan and the Regional Programs of six provinces.

Carlos has a bachelor´s degree in Computer Engeneering from the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education (ITESM) Campus León. Furthermore, he has postgraduate studies in Strategic Planning and Collective Intelligence.
