Thies has 30 years of corporate experience as a global senior executive in 500 companies, having lived in Hamburg, Paris, New York and Rio de Janeiro. After having studied in Germany & Holland, Thies started his international corporate career with the #1 Beauty Company L’Oréal, in Paris. In 2013, after 17 years in International Marketing and as Global Brand President of the leading Salon Beauty Brand L’Oréal Professionnel, he decided to transition into HR.
Responsible for Leadership Development & Transformation at L’Oréal LatAm, he led a major Organizational Change process to boost trust, cooperation, feedback culture, strategic planning and organizational effectiveness.
Certified Coach since 2018, he is continuously taking complementary studies about the evolution of leadership practices, people engagement and wellbeing.
